An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our Field Operations Department. An Operations Technology SCADA Engineer will be a full time member of the Operational Technology engineering team, developing the capability of the PowerOn product, and maintain or exceed the expected service level of the PowerOn Control Systems, EnegyIP and SCADA Infrastructure. Apply now and we'll be in touch!  You'll Be Team Specialist in SCADA protocols, ICS control system mapping and configuration Support development of GE powerOn prodduct suite Provide support for the Smart Metering Gateaway Provide support for system automation and control Deliver automation schemes to support the AVC implementation project Support system testing for new releases and assist prjects with testing standards Participate in the on call out of hours support rota Represent Operational Technology on major projects, e.g, eAM, CRM, Smart Metering  Service management of GE, Trusts, Omnetric and other third parties Day to day troubleshooting and PoF product/Smart Metering Gateway support Adherence to all security policies, contributing to Security Working Group meetings Support of the Operational Technology security infrastructure Participate in the cyber Incident Management process Liaison with Dispatch, Control and Contact Centre Support and Implementation of software release, patches and service packs Key Competencies Ability to work under pressure and manage third party support staff and contractors Take ownership of problems and maintain expected service levels for high profile and critical control system Use and configure ICS SCADA control systems to manage the electiricity network Understanding of the operation of the Northern Powergrid disctibution network and its assets Effective communication skills at all levels of the business Qualifications & Attributes Essential Qualifications and Experience HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience of working with distribution control systems such as PowerOn fusion Desirable Qualifications and Experience Knowledge of SCADA protocols Appreciation of the cyber security risk to ICS control systems and its treatment Exposure to Smart Metering and PowerOn fusion Previous working experience within Operational Technology environments A minimum of 3 years operating as a Business Development Manager with evidenced, proven track record of building pipeline, following sales process and strong closing skills Qualifications & Attributes
